While our archive is extensive and includes designs that date back to the 1800s, this can mean the fabrics aren’t always labeled with their birth year. But that doesn’t mean we can’t share these mystery materials with you all!

Just by analyzing the material, our textile experts believe this week’s throwback fabric is from the 1930s era based on the fact that the fabric is rayon, a popular material during that period in history.

The fabric features a pink, white, green and yellow floral motif on top of a navy background. Given the time, this archive was most likely used in apparel, as this design and material would work beautifully for a blouse.
