Developed as part of the Disney | Baxter Mill Archive collaboration, this pattern layers the graphic energy of 101 Dalmatians over a mid 20th century hand-painted plaid framework uncovered in our archives. Powder blue and cherry red blocks of color, structured stripes, and painterly textures create a lively, mid‑century aesthetic, while the stylized puppy motifs introduce a dynamic storytelling element. The design re‑interprets archival geometry through the lens of Disney animation, producing a spirited, contemporary plaid with enduring character.
