About this Design
Pastoral Symphony is re‑imagined from a 1940s wallpaper preserved in the Baxter Mill Archive, translating the lyrical artistry of Disney’s Fantasia into a contemporary surface design. Softly rendered florals, rhythmic foliage, and mythic figures echo the expressive brushwork and romantic composition of decorative wallpapers. The pattern’s flowing motifs and sculptural silhouettes honor the historic elegance of the archive while capturing the dreamlike spirit that defines Fantasia.
