About this Design
Part of the Disney’s Winnie the Pooh | Baxter Mill Archive collaboration, this color study honors the paper and ink character of the original archive wallpaper and presents the woodland narrative with refined simplicity. Trees are rendered in etched detail and small scenes of Pooh and friends at play are placed among the trunks so the story reads as a classic toile. The color is a graceful grayscale that moves from soft stone to charcoal on a clean chalk ground which creates an elegant, gallery like look for walls and textiles.
