STAR WARS™ | Baxter Mill - Rebels - Starbird - Kakelugn Fabric

Starbird – Kakelugn is a signature design from the STAR WARS | Baxter Mill collaboration, developed from a late–19th century wallpaper book preserved in the Baxter Mill Archive. The pattern draws on a traditional allover floral layout—layered daisied blooms, curling stems, and balanced repeat—faithfully honoring the craftsmanship and compositional rhythm of historic wallpaper design. Subtly embedded within the floral centers is the Starbird emblem, integrated with restraint so it reads as ornament rather than icon, echoing the way symbolic motifs were historically woven into decorative arts. The Kakelugn colorway features a light powder blue ground, paired with warm ivory petals and foliage. Collected, luminous, and quietly narrative, Starbird – Kakelugn bridges archival design and modern mythology, offering a timeless pattern suited to both classic and contemporary interiors.
