Flowing leaves, scalloped fronds, and stylized blossoms in muted mauve and warm amber create a lush, decorative landscape, within which mermaids appear nestled among the motifs, their graceful silhouettes woven subtly into the pattern. The palette’s soft tonal shifts and painterly detailing reflect the expressive character of early 20th‑century surface design, while the layered composition introduces a sense of rhythm and movement.
