About this Design
Disney's Ariel herself is woven throughout Thingamabob - Sand, appearing as a subtle silhouette nestled within sweeping ornamental forms inspired by an early 20th century wallpaper in the Baxter Mill Archive. Created for the Disney | Baxter Mill Collaboration, the design reflects her fascination with collecting treasures and exploring worlds beyond her own. Soft shades of cream, beige, and warm taupe highlight the flowing curves and underwater-inspired movement of the pattern, offering a refined interpretation of Disney's The Little Mermaid through an archival lens.
