About this Design
Within the MARVEL | Baxter Mill collaboration, Queens, draws from a mid-century textile document from the Baxter Mill Archive. Paneled rectangles and intersecting, web-like lines form a structured city grid, subtly echoing Spider‑Man’s webbing and emblem and the New York City borough. Rendered in a layered palette of greens and ivory with fine speckling, the design balances archival structure with kinetic energy.
